Overview Of Church Live Streaming Video Services
*Through our experience we have found that streaming the video at 350kbps and the audio at 96kbps (total of 446kbps) to be the most efficient. 446kbps is beneficial for a few reasons:
- The visual and audio stream quality is more than adequate for church service viewing
- Raising the bit rate will limit the ability to send and view the stream. The higher the bit rate the higher the broadband connectivity required for both sending and viewing. Churches do not want their viewers worrying about their internet speed when attempting to view
- Cost – bandwidth charges are directly associated to the total bandwidth used. This will be calculated by using the streaming bit rate chosen, the amount of viewers watching, and the length of time they viewed
