The features on this page are applicable to our Basic, Basic Plus, Premier, & Commerce website plans. The church website hosting features are included in all of our maintenance packages.
Premium Hosting
With our premium servers you will never have to worry about the performance of your site. All of our servers have at least 16GB of ram and pack top of the line disk drives that run at 15,000 rpm. We use all SAS drives with RAID 10 technology for optimum database connectivity, speed, and reliability.
Unmetered Bandwidth
Many providers limit your bandwidth. At Build A Church Website we give you unmetered bandwidth. That means that we do not monitor the amount of traffic you get through your site. This ensures that in the busier times when many people are watching your podcasts or downloading forms that your site will not slow down.
Unlimited Email | Webmail
All of our plans come with unlimited email addresses. You will get email that will run from your domain. In other words, if your domain is mychurch.org, then you will get email addresses like [email protected] and [email protected]
You will also be able to access your mail through our webmail servers so that you can check your mail when you’re not by your computer. You can also access your mail through your phone or I-pad without any issues.
Firewall Protection
Have peace of mind knowing that all of your hard earned content is safe on our servers. We constantly monitor our servers and have firewalls in place that will stop hackers from getting into your information. Our firewalls will literally lock the perpetrator out of even being able to access your site or the server if they violate the firewall rules.
Software Updates
With our maintenance services you will not have to worry about updating a component or the software that your website is built in. When it is time for an update we take care of everything for you. Rest assured as you take care of your content, we will be taking care of the software and technologies that run the site. This let’s you run your church/ministry while we work for you with all of the technical stuff.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Backups
We run incremental backups throughout the day on our R1Soft network. This allows us to role your site back or restore it to an earlier point in the day or week if there is an issue or if you accidentally delete something you should not have deleted. We keep your site’s backed up archives for a full month.
Unlimited Site Administrators
Even our lowest packages come with unlimited site administrators. You will be able to assign certain people to certain pages with editing rights. You will also be able to setup as many backend administrators as you want. You make the rules when it comes to your site administrator access, and we will help you set it up if you have any questions.
Unlimited User Groups
Give your parishioners access to only view what you want them to view. This allows you to upload a church directory and only let members download it, or make people register and login to view your weekly services online. Our system will allow for unlimited user groups and access levels.
